Cyclist Seriously Hurt After Crashing Into Taxi

DENVER (CBS4)- A cyclist was seriously hurt after crashing into a taxi cab in downtown Denver on Friday morning.

Police said the cyclist made a sudden turn and crashed into the cab turning left on a green light.

The bicyclist was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

The accident kept the intersection of 11th and Lincoln closed for more than two hours during investigation and cleanup.

The cyclist has not been identified. The taxi driver was not hurt.
