Kurios 'Virtual Reality' Shows 360 Degree Experience

DENVER (CBS4)- Cirque du Soleil is all about innovation and with their latest show they're leading the way into virtual reality.

Several performers in Kurios got their first look at the virtual reality version on Friday.

Cirque du Soleil shot the 360 degree performance three months ago but has released the eight minute video for the Samsung Galaxy S-6.

Those who've seen the video say it's like standing right on the stage while the performance goes on around you.

"It just opens up your imagination and when you remove this you feel good and you're more curious about the environment around you," said Kurios Director Michel Laprise.

Kurios is at the Pepsi Center through July 26.
