Colorado Announces Results Of 1st Adult Pot Survey
DENVER (AP) - Almost 14 percent of Colorado adults use pot. That's according to the state Health Department's first-ever survey of how many adults use the newly legal drug.
Results from the 2014 survey were announced Monday. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment says that 13.6 percent of adults currently use pot. Of those, more than a third said they use pot every day.

Almost half, 48.9 percent, said they've ever used pot. Adults with higher incomes and more education were more likely than others to have used marijuana.
The survey also asked about children. Almost 7 percent said they kept marijuana in a home where children up to age 14 were living. More than 70 percent of those said they kept marijuana locked away.
