Salon In Wash Park Suffers Double Whammy From The Weather
DENVER (CBS4) - Thursday night's heavy rain was the final straw for a roof already battered by hail.
The roof at Bang Salon in Washington Park suffered severe hail damage last week. Then when it started pouring Thursday night the roof started leaking.
"I think we had probably 10 to 15 swimming pool type things that were filled, and I know they've dumped them a couple of times, so it's been pretty significant," Bang Salon owner Lisa Garcia said.
Staff pulled out light fixtures and electronics hoping to save them from the water pouring in from above. Garcia isn't sure when they'll be able to reopen.
