Bibbs Excited To Be Back Fighting For A Job With Broncos

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The running back rotation for the Denver Broncos is young, but deep.

Kapri Bibbs, the former star for the CSU Rams, was among the backs taking part in the veteran minicamp practices this week.

He said he hopes the new Broncos coaches will take notice of what he can bring to the roster.

"They watch a lot of tape. These coaches -- that's how they make their decisions on a lot of stuff (such as) whether to keep a guy or let a guy go," Bibbs said.

"Just to know that they wanted to keep me here and that (John) Elway and the rest of the staff still has a lot faith in me is a big deal for me because it gives me that extra kick on the field."

C.J. Anderson, Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman all started at different points last year and are returning on the roster.

Bibbs spent part of last season on the practice squad and was also on the active squad for a time before being waived in late November.
