Denver Public Library Used Book Sale Back On After Storm Causes Damage
DENVER (CBS4) - Rain in Denver on Friday cleared up in time for the Denver Public Library Used Book Sale to take place.
Thursday's downpour damaged a number of books and tents at the outdoor event, and organizers were forced to call it off early on day 1.
All the standing water and mud left behind by the storm was too unsafe and uncomfortable for shoppers and volunteers.
In addition to tens of thousands of books, the sale includes audio books, CDs and DVDs. It goes through the weekend.
