Search Continues For Boy Who Fell Out Of Raft On Arkansas River

CHAFFEE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS) - Crews continued the search Thursday morning for a boy who went missing while rafting the Arkansas River.

Around 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday, three people fell out of The Adventure Company's raft in Chaffee County at the Big Drop Rapids in Browns Canyon.

Two of the three rafters were pulled out of the class 3 section rapids by other people in the raft. The third occupant, an 11-year-old boy, was not recovered.

Emergency crews responded and the search continued to nightfall. The boy from Golden was not located and the search continued at first light on Thursday.
