New Denver High Rise: 13 Floors Of Shops, 27 Floors Of Office Space & A Gym
DENVER (CBS4) - Crews on Tuesday broke ground on what will be one of Denver's tallest construction projects in 30 years.
Construction officially began on what will be a 40-story high rise on 15th Street between Arapahoe and Lawrence. It's currently a parking lot.
The project will have 27 floors of office space above 13 floors of shops, restaurants and a gym.
"Today is a milestone. This is the first Class A building in Denver over the last 30 years, and it's really a testament to a sophisticated investor and their expectations and outlook for Denver's economy," said Paul Washington, Director of Economic Development.
The project is scheduled to take about 18 months to complete.
