Fort Carson Soldiers Accused Of Raping Teen Plead Not Guilty

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Two Fort Carson soldiers accused of raping a 17-year-old girl have pleaded not guilty.

Spc. Noel Acevedo-Mercado, 20, and Pfc. John Donathan, 19, appeared in Colorado Springs court on Monday.

The victim claims she was partying with them outside her home when she started to feel sick and went to her bedroom. She claims the men followed her and raped her.

The soldiers say the teen consented to sex.

Their trial is set for October.
