DIA Announces November 19 Opening For Westin Hotel
DENVER (CBS4)- The highly-anticipated opening of the hotel at Denver International Airport will be Nov. 19, one week before the busy Thanksgiving weekend.
The Westin Denver International Airport will open to the public at 3 p.m. that day. DIA said it is the first hotel in a decade to be built connected to an airport terminal.
The Westin will have 519 guest rooms to accommodate travelers along with the transit center that can take guests to downtown Denver in just 35 minutes.
The airport is offering tours on some Fridays and Saturdays through June 20.
The tours take about 45 minutes and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Only 15 people are allowed on each tour and you have to register online.
Because the tours are happening while construction is still underway, each will be different.
