1 Child Killed, 3 Others Injured In Colorado Springs Motel Fire
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- Fire investigators are examining evidence in a motel fire that left three children and an adult critically injured after they became trapped. A 2-year-old child died as a result of injuries.
The fire at the Ranch Motel broke out early Saturday morning. Everyone escaped except three children and one adult.
One person was arrested at the scene of the fire for an outstanding warrant.
Investigators are trying to determine what sparked the fire.
The children, ages 10, 4 and 2, along with their mother, were rushed to a Denver hospital. The 2-year-old did not survive.
