Manning Gives Back With 'Peyback Foundation'

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning delivered over-sized checks on Wednesday to help the younger generation.

Manning's Peyback Foundation donated $1 million to various youth organizations. It's something he does every year.

From the Peyback Foundation's website: Manning established the PeyBack Foundation in 1999 to promote the future success of disadvantaged youth by assisting programs that provide leadership and growth opportunities for children at risk.

Manning also talked about working under center during practice, a crucial move in the Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak's offense.

"Under center you can keep your eyes on the defense a little longer, to tell you the truth. When it's a shotgun you've got to put your eyes on the ball at some point, probably in some ways a little easier on center because you can be looking to the left," said Manning.
