Man Who Murdered Girlfriend Sentenced To Life In Prison
BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4)- A man who murdered his girlfriend and then tried to take his own life was sentenced to life in prison on Friday.
Seth Wilkinson went to his former girlfriend's workplace at the Savannah Suites Hotel in Westminster on Dec. 14., 2012 and shot Antida Archuleta three times in the head. She was also shot in the arm.
When police arrived they found Archuleta in a pool of blood and Wilkinson standing over her, bleeding, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chin.
Wilkinson survived but Archuleta did not.
Wilkinson was convicted of first-degree murder after deliberation in April.
