"Directly following the shooting, three males were seen running into the Topaz II Apartment Complex. Residents of the apartment complex received a reverse 911 call and were asked to shelter in place," police said in a statement.

Officers were "quickly able to contain the apartment complex and located the three suspects inside an apartment where they were taken into custody without incident," police said.

Police said they don't know of the shooting was gang-related or the relationship between the two involved in the confrontation.

Four people in total are in custody -- the person on the bus, the two at the bus stop, and a juvenile of unknown involvement.
