Volunteers Help Give One Of Denver Oldest Neighborhoods A Facelift
DENVER (CBS4) - Volunteers were hard at work Thursday improving homes in one of Denver's oldest historic neighborhoods.
The Whittier neighborhood got the facelift. The effort is part of a bigger project to bring new art installations and beautify the community.
More than 50 volunteers participated in the event.
"They're scraping the houses, creating fences, painting. So it's a lot beautification on houses that are on the alley loop," a volunteer said.
The project is also part of Rebuilding Together Metro Denver, which provides crucial home repairs for homeowners in need.
