Man Charged In Kidnapping, Sexual Assault
DENVER (CBS4)- A man has been charged in connection with a kidnapping and sexual assault after DNA evidence matched the suspect.
Agustin Moreno has been charged with second-degree kidnapping and sexual assault. The charges allege that on Sept. 28, 2014 Moreno kidnapped a woman from a gas station near South Knox Court and West Nevada Place.
The charges further allege that Moreno threatened her and then sexually assaulted her. The victim was taken to a hospital where DNA was collected.
Earlier this week the DNA was found to be a match to Moreno. He remains in custody on $100,000 bond pending his next court date.
