Man Avoids Deportation By Seeking Sanctuary In Church For 6 Months

DENVER (CBS4)- A man has spent the past six months seeking sanctuary in a church in Denver to avoid deportation. Now his supporters are asking for more attention to his case.

Arturo Hernandez is living in the U.S. illegally but would qualify for temporary relief from deportation under Pres. Obama's executive action.

Hernandez's supporters were outside the ICE offices in Centennial where they rallied to ask the field director to grant Hernandez a stay of deportation.
