Carjackers Use Zip Ties To Restrain Victim
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Four car theft suspects are on the run after luring a man into their SUV in Boulder on Tuesday afternoon and then restraining him and stealing his car.
The suspects reportedly lured the 19-year-old into the SUV in a parking lot north of Canyon Boulevard and east of 21st. The victim had been near his car at the time in the lot.
Police say inside the SUV the men pointed guns at the man and tied his hands together with plastic ties. Then one of them began going through the man's car.
The victim was able to escape from the SUV and run away, but returned later returned to find his car was stolen.
Police say the SUV was a 2011 blue Nissan Armada. The stolen car was described as being a pearl 2010 Subaru Impreza.

Police are asking anyone who may have information regarding this crime to call Det. Chuck Heidel at 303-441-3339, or Boulder P.D. dispatch at 303-441-3333. Police said the suspects' descriptions are as follows:
Suspect #1: W/M, approximately 40 yoa , black/ gray hair, stubble beard. Wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.
Suspect #2: W/M, short, black hair. Had tattoo of cursive "D" on left side of face with other unknown cursive letters. Suspect was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt. Suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
Suspect #3: B/M, goes by "Pat" or "Mike," approx. 25 yoa. 6'1", 220 lbs, with "thin" shoulder length dreadlocks. Armed with silver semi-automatic handgun.
Suspect #4: B/M, approx. 25 yoa, 5'10, 150 lbs. Armed with black semi-automatic handgun.
