Just-Purchased SUV Among The Cars Crushed When Carport Collapses
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Car owners are assessing the damage after the weight of the overnight snow may have caused a carport in Aurora to collapse.
Crews secured the area just before sunrise Friday morning.
The collapse happened outside an apartment complex on East Kansas Drive.
One car owner said he just bought an SUV and it got crushed.
"I know it was the weather. The snow is heavy right now and all that, but I think the office should've do something before because that was weak already. And, well, here we are right now," Fernando Escabar told CBS4.
No one was injured.
