Girl Tells Police She Was Abducted And Drove Around Before Getting Away

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are searching for a man who forced a juvenile girl into his car Sunday afternoon.

According to police, the girl was walking in the 500 block of South Tejon Street near Kipp Sunshine Academy at approximately 4:30 p.m. when she was approached by a man in a black two-door Honda.

The victim told police the man forced her into his car and drove her around the area for several hours before she was able to get away.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, about 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-5 and approximately 200 pounds. He had light brown to blondish hair, brown eyes, "no facial hair but had some pimples on his face."

The victim said the Honda had a black interior with trash in the rear seats and on the floor. The car also had tinted windows and "gray or silver molding at the bottom of the door." She said the license plate had a green background with blue trim and a palm tree.
