Police Locate Victim's Family 3 Days After Hit & Run In Aurora, No Arrests

AURORA (CBS4) - Investigators have tracked down the sister of the victim of a hit-and-run in Aurora on Thursday night.

Gregory Tafoya, 57, remains in critical condition. Police believe Tafoya may be homeless and nobody was able to locate anyone in his family until Sunday.

Tafoya was hit on East Colfax Avenue and Kingston Street at approximately 7 p.m. The suspect was driving a silver BMW SUV that was found abandoned a short time later. The owner of the BMW reported it stolen.

No arrests have been made. Anybody with information is asked to call Aurora police.
