1 Dead In Condominium Fire In Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - One person is dead and two others were injured in a Colorado Springs condominium fire.

The fire started Saturday afternoon. Three people were taken to the hospital, where one of those people died. The others were in stable condition.

Fire Capt. Steve Oswald says the fire started in the basement and the cause is under investigation.

Authorities say someone driving by on Academy Boulevard reported the blaze and 30 firefighters responded.

The victims have not been identified.
