Passenger Pulls Knife On Cab Driver, Attack Captured On Dashcam
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A dashcam captured the violent attack of a cab driver by a passenger in Colorado Springs and police hope someone will recognize the suspect.
The attack happened on the west side of Colorado Springs near Cimarron and 8th Street just after 10 p.m. on April 4.
The video shows a man entering the cab and then seconds later holding a knife to the driver's throat.
After a brief struggle the suspect ran off with $200 in cash.
The driver needed stitches on his hand.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s, 5-foot-10, about 150 pounds. He was wearing a blue-gray and white flannel jacket with jeans, black shoes and pink beanie cap.
