Aurora Police Search For Driver In Hit-And-Run, Victim Critically Injured
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Aurora continued to search for the driver in a hit-and-run that left the victim critically injured.
A man identified as Gregory Tafoya, 58, was struck at Colfax and Kingston in Aurora about 7 p.m. Thursday.
Police said a man driving a BMW SUV struck the victim and drove off. The vehicle was found a few blocks away but the driver was missing.
Police said the SUV was stolen.
He remained in critical condition on Friday evening following surgery.
