A Day For Wednesday's Child Raises More Than $80,000

DENVER (CBS4) - CBS4 would like to thank everyone who helped The Adoption Exchange during A Day For Wednesday's Child.

The telethon during every CBS4 newscast on Wednesday encouraged viewers to call in donations and lend support.

The total raised was $84,637, and it will go towards helping children in foster care find forever families.

"Thank you to all the people that participated and donated and thought about the children today," said Lauren Arnold, the Executive Director at The Adoption Exchange.
