Evacuations Near Florissant In Teller County Lifted Following Grass Fire
TELLER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Evacuations have been lifted in Teller County west of Colorado Springs after of a fast moving grass fire threatened some homes.
Residents in the Highland Meadows subdivision near the town of Florissant were told to evacuate just after 4:15 p.m. The subdivision of Western Hills was under a pre-evacuation status.
All pre-evacuation and evacuation notices were lifted and all roads reopened at 7:30 p.m.
Approximately 100 acres burned.
