RTD Closed Portion Of Light Rail Line In Lakewood For Possible Death Investigation
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- RTD closed a portion of the light rail in Lakewood on Friday evening because of a possible death investigation.
An RTD spokeswoman told CBS4 there was an accident possibly involving a pedestrian in the area between Wadsworth and Federal Boulevard. The accident did not happen at a light rail station.
RTD is cooperating with police in Lakewood who responded to the possible death investigation.
That portion of light rail was closed and RTD was transporting passengers by bus to make the connection.
It is unclear when the light rail route will reopen.
