Speed, Alcohol Possible Factors In Fatal Single-Car Crash In Aurora
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Aurora believe speed and alcohol may be contributing factors in a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of the driver over the weekend.
According to Sgt. Mark Elliot, the crash occurred shortly before 5 a.m. on Sunday in the 3800 block of South Mission Parkway.
"Investigation thus far reveals a late model Scion was traveling south on Mission Parkway and collided with a tree," Elliot said in a statement.
The driver died at the scene and a passenger was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.
No names have been released.
