Former CU Ski Club Coach Accused Of Putting Club Funds In Private Account

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A former University of Colorado Ski Club coach is under fire once again.

The Boulder Sheriff's Office is investigating Palmer Hoyt for allegedly taking thousands of dollars in club funds and putting them into a private bank account.

Hoyt initially left CU in 2013 when he says he was forced to resign over allegations of ethical misconduct.

In an interview with the Daily Camera Hoyt said what he did was legal.

CU does not allow private accounts to be used under university policy.
