FBI Joins Hunt For 'Longhorn Bandit'

DENVER (CBS4) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation is now joining the search for a man called the Longhorn Bandit.

The man is suspected of robbing multiple banks in Colorado, during one of which he wore a Longhorns cap.

In addition to the FBI, the Wheat Ridge, Aurora, Broomfield, and Arvada Police Departments are investigating the four bank robberies, one casing, and one attempted bank robbery that are all believed to be committed by this same man.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or white male with dark skin and a mustache, between 20 and 30 years of age, about 200 pounds, and an approximate height of 6'1 - 6'2.

Police ask the public if they have any information to please call the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force at 303-629-7171.
