TSA Stops Screening At DIA After Trains Halted Due To Power Problem
DENVER (CBS4) - A power problem reported at Denver International Airport temporarily halted all passenger train operations.
According to DIA spokesman Heath Montgomery, the power problem occurred shortly after 2 p.m.
Crews investigated the problem and got the trains moving again after about 30 minutes.
Montgomery said the Transportation Security Administration north and south screening checkpoints were stopped temporarily to keep the platforms from getting too crowded. The A-security checkpoint remained open during the issue.
It's not clear if airlines delayed flights to accommodate late passengers.
