1 Burglary Suspect In Custody, Another At Large Following Police Search
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - One person has been arrested after a police search for burglary suspects in the Belmar shopping area midday Wednesday.
Stave Davis with Lakewood police said shortly after noon on Wednesday Denver police tracked possible burglary suspects from Denver to Lakewood. A pickup truck police believed was connected to the suspects was found abandoned in the Belmar parking lot near Alameda Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard.
After a search one suspect was arrested, but police said another is still at large. Police thought one of the suspects entered the Target store in the area. The store was temporarily closed the search.
No other details have been released.
