Teenager Seriously Injured In Fort Collins Hit & Run

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Fort Collins are looking for a driver in a hit and run that sent a 16-year-old boy to the hospital.

The collision happened just before 8 a.m. in the 1900 block of Laporte Avenue.

The teen was walking on the north side of Laporte when the driver of a late model sedan drove out of the lane of traffic, across a bike lane and hit the boy. Then they left the scene.

That dark colored car may have damage to the right front corner or fender.

The teen's injuries were described as being serious.
