El Paso County Deputy Crashes Patrol Car, Cited For Careless Driving
WIDEFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) - An El Paso County sheriff's deputy was cited for careless driving after crashing a patrol car on top of a guardrail.
The crash happened on Fontaine Boulevard in Widefield Sunday morning.
The deputy, whose name hasn't been released, wasn't injured.
The Colorado State Patrol says the deputy lost control and went off the side of the road.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
