Pedestrian Killed By Pickup Truck In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The northbound direction of South Wadsworth Boulevard was closed at West 5^th Avenue Thursday night after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a pickup truck.

The victim, an adult male, was crossing Wadsworth from west to east and was not in the crosswalk when he was it.

The driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with investigators. No charges are expected for the driver.

All lanes were reopened by 10:30 p.m. following accident cleanup.
