Police are hoping to track down Ronald Cox. His shop, Always Available Mobile Mechanics, recently closed its doors.

Cox reportedly took people's money but never completed their repairs. Some even found their vehicle on the street with more damage than before.

Arvada police say as soon as they had information about alleged criminal activity at the shop they opened up an investigation into Cox. On Friday they said they are prepared to file car theft charges and charges of stealing money from customers' credit cards.

Robert Green says he is a victim of Cox's. He paid $450 for work he says was never completed.

"I gave him the credit card information and everything and he said he would do the right thing and fix my truck and he basically just took the money," Green said.

Another alleged victim CBS4 has interviewed in following this story is named Heather Warner. She said she has no idea where her vehicle is.

"We definitely want to talk to him and see what he has to say and find out if we can find these vehicles," Arvada spokeswoman Jill McGranahan said. "Ideally, we want to get them back to their owners."

Cox spoke with CBS4 by phone and said he is an honest and successful businessman. He says he did work on Green's truck. He also said he has never used anyone's credit card falsely.

Cox says he is a victim of theft by his own family members, but that he will fix his mistakes and he said he would tow Warner's car to her Friday night. Arvada police and his alleged victims say it will take more than that.

"I feel that he should pay for what he took," Green said.
