Snow Boosts Many Businesses Across Colorado

DENVER (CBS4)- The cold and snow can be a trial for many Coloradans but for some businesses it's good news and that extends beyond ski resorts.

Cold and snowy weather is a big boost to car dealerships. Once drivers try to get around in the snow with their current vehicle it often sends them to the dealership to buy a different vehicle.

"People need 4-wheel drive and all-wheel drive and they don't realize until the first snow falls," said Rickenbaugh Cadillac salesman Warren Gonzalez.

Construction doesn't stop when the weather turns. For workers who have to be in the elements the trick is to wear layers.

"I have like, two sweaters on, two hats, triple socks," said construction worker Bryant Vallez.
