NEW ORLEANS (CBS4) – Peyton Manning’s offseason workouts have begun. Whether or not it leads to another season with the Broncos remains to be seen.
The New Orleans Times Picayune reports that Manning has started workouts with a trainer in his hometown.
The workouts are necessary to give the soon-to-be 39-year-old quarterback a better sense of his physical health.

Manning’s well documented neck issues that required multiple surgeries in 2011 are one concern. In addition, Manning struggled late in the season last year due in large part to a thigh injury.
Manning still plans to meet with the Broncos brass before he makes a final decision to return for an 18th season in the NFL.
