Broomfield Bike Theft Suspects Caught On Camera

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) - A group of people who stole expensive road bicycles from a store in Broomfield last year remain at large following the crime.

Broomfield police on Tuesday said the crime happened on Sept. 19 at the Golden Bear Bicycle Shop on the 200 block of Nickel Street.

They said three bikes were taken from the shop by five different people. The bikes were valued at at least $16,000.

Police are hoping someone will recognize the people they believe are responsible tof the crime. The following images were captured by the store's surveillance video system and the descriptions are provided by police:

Suspect #1: Hispanic female with dark hair pulled up in a bun, green tank top shirt and blue jeans.

Suspect #2: Hispanic male with medium/short hair, light colored V-neck shirt and blue jeans.

Suspect #3: Hispanic male with short dark hair, wearing a blue and white polo with the word Argentina printed on the front, and blue jeans.

Suspect #4: Hispanic male with short dark hair, black "1987" t-shirt and blue jeans.
Suspect #5: Hispanic male wearing a baseball style hat, blue "New York 65" shirt and dark colored jeans.

The bikes were all Cannondales. They were described as follows:

- Model: Black Edition Road Bike; Color: Black; Size: 58 inch
- Model: Synapse Hi_Mod 2 Red; Color: Black/White/Green; Size: 58 inch
- Model: Synapse Hi_Mod 2 Red; Color: Black/White/Green; Size: 56 inch
