DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado Rockies general manager Jeff Bridich and manager Walt Weiss appeared on Xfinity Monday Live section this week and answered several questions that are probably on the minds of fans.

1. Will The Rockies Trade Troy Tulowitzki?

Bridich: For us internally (that) never really got to anywhere close to a boiling point. Certainly topical, both locally and nationally, because of the person involved. Tulo is, if not the best shortstop in the game, he's one of the top two or three. Anytime that you're going to talk about a guy like that it's going to bring up emotions and curiosity.

Bridich: But there really was never a point where we had to sit in a room and say, "Wow, this is something that might make sense for us in terms of moving him." It never really got close to that.

Weiss: We're hoping that this is his year, he stays healthy, he goes out there and is able to play a full season. If he does, you know that the numbers are going to be big, as we've seen before."

2. Will Carlos Gonzalez Move To Right Field?

Bridich: He certainly has the skill set to play either corner position in the outfield, I think he's proven that. There's a different dynamic playing left field and right field in our park, and it's different based on where you're playing that night. So, CarGo and Walt and the rest of the coaches will figure that part of it out.

3. How Will The Starting Rotation Be Different?

Weiss: I've gone through the rotation, it's been different the last three weeks in a row … I think I make up a new one every day. Competition is good. We do have some of the guys who have been staples for us over the last couple years (for example Jorge De La Rosa)."

Weiss: (Jhoulys Chacin) really worked hard this winter, he's in great shape, he's throwing the ball really well. So we're very encouraged with his progress.

4. Will The Bullpen Be Better Than Last Year?

Bridich: We're looking and searching and hunting. Our search for bettering ourselves on the mound, whether it's in the rotation or in the bullpen, it's ongoing, it's always going to be ongoing.

Bridich: Certain guys that we've acquired can start and come out of the pen … we're certainly looking for growth out of a number of our younger guys as well."

5. Why Did The Rockies Sign Kyle Kendrick?

Bridich: We certainly feel like we know (new acquisition Kyle Kendrick) well with him pitching for the Phillies all these years. We're familiar with what his strengths are and we have seen him pitch well a few times against us and in our ballpark. He's stayed healthy, he's taken the ball pretty much every fifth day ... over the course of his career, and he has given them chances to win.
