Wildfire Sparked By Jeep Spreads To Tire Pile
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A Jeep that caught fire sparked a wildfire in El Paso County on Friday afternoon.
The fire was sparked by the vehicle fire near the South Calhan Highway and it quickly spread to dry grass nearby.
The fire then spread to a large pile of tires which sent large black plumes of smoke into the sky.
No one was hurt.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.
