Police Find Car Of Person Found Dead In Fountain Fire
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Police say they've found the car belonging to a person found dead inside a house fire in Fountain.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in the city south of Colorado Springs at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday and found the body after breaking into the house. Police say the circumstances of the death are suspicious. The victim, whose name, age and gender haven't been released, is not believed to have died in the blaze.
Police announced Thursday that the car they sought after the fire had been found, saying they would release more information later in the day.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is helping police and fire officials determine the cause of the fire, which was extinguished in about 30 minutes.
