Fort Collins Gives Initial Approval To Expanded Smoking Ban
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - More of Fort Collins is close to being off limits for smokers.
The city council Tuesday evening gave initial approval to a plan to expand restrictions to outdoor public places, including all city facilities and the busiest part of Old Town.
The ban covers everything from parks to alleys if they are owned by the city.
If it's approved on second reading it would take effect Sept. 1.
