1997 Pena Blvd Snow

According to NOAA, Denver received nearly 22 inches of snow between October 24 and 25 in 1997. That total makes it the seventh largest recorded snow storm in Denver's history, dating all the way back to 1881. That's a drop in the bucket, though, compared to what Buffalo is getting hit with right now. Despite what's happening in western New York, they still haven't broken the 24 hour snow fall record set here in Colorado in 1921. Silver Lake, which is just north of Nederland, received a record 76 inches of snow in only 24 hours!
