Stabbed Man Dropped Off At St. Anthony Hospital, Driver Leaves

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Lakewood are hoping a surveillance image will help them figure out how a man got stabbed.

On Tuesday morning just before 11 a.m. a man in a gray car dropped off the person who was stabbed at St. Anthony Hospital, located at 11600 West 2nd Place.

The wounded man was then admitted to the hospital and the person who drove him there -- a brown haired man in a T-shirt and jeans -- left.

On Tuesday afternoon police said the hospital hasn't determined the wounded man's identity and they are hoping the public might provide tips to help them solve the case. They said they are hoping anyone will contact them if they have information about the man or car seen in a photo from St. Anthony's Hospital surveillance video. That is apparently the man who drove the stabbing victim.

Police said the wounded man was badly injured and so far has not been able to talk to authorities.
