The driver of the Honda, identified as Gilbert Martinez, 37, also of LaSalle, and two sons, Ethan, 6, and Bryson, 1, inside also died. Another adult inside the Honda, Mistelle Martinez, 32, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

"In the moments before the crash, Macias-Marquez was driving on a raised concrete median with his left side tires until the left front tire ruptured." Reid said. "Macias-Marquez then lost control and drove across the median -- which had turned to grass -- and ran over a metal sign post and several delineator posts before colliding with the driver's side of the Odyssey."

The Dodge traveled off the east side of U.S. 85 and rolled once.

Investigators believe Macias-Marquez was at fault and alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor.
