1 Injured In Apartment Complex Fire In Fort Collins
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP/CBS4) - One person has been injured in a three-alarm fire at a Fort Collins apartment complex.
The Poudre Fire Authority says the fire was reported about 3 a.m. Saturday and residents had to be evacuated in freezing weather.
One person suffered non-life threatening burns and was taken to a hospital.
"After a coordinated attack leading crews from the living areas to the attic, the fire was brought under control. At the same time crews worked to keep it from spreading into other sections of the building and helped protected residents' belonging still inside by placing covers," the Poudre Fire Authority said in a statement.
Two apartments were heavily damaged and six others had smoke and water damage.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
