United In Excitement: Denver Dons Broncos' Orange As Playoff Game Nears

DENVER (CBS4) - Less than a week away, the Denver Broncos' first 2014 playoff game is fetching a lot of interest -- and a high price.

"They're good seats. You can definitely hear and feel the action there," Jimmie Rose, a season ticket holder since 1960, said as he showed off $260 tickets he thinks may fetch $500 apiece.

"If people are willing to pay extra, we'll accept the extra," he said.

At A Lewis Tickets in Glendale, Candy Lewis juggled clients and calls on Monday.

"Honey, the Broncos going all the way to the Super Bowl," she told one caller. "I'm serious."

Tickets in some cases are going for twice their face value.

"It's going to get crazy as it gets closer to the game. Friday the 9th is payday for people," Lewis said. "Today's a good day to buy, definitely a good day to buy."

Rose, meanwhile, made a bundle on his ticket sale on Monday, but his loyalty to the team is obvious in where he'll spend his profits.

"I'm hoping it will pay for a trip to Arizona," he said, in reference to the site of this year's Super Bowl.
