Work On I-70 At Idaho Springs Delayed
IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The Colorado Department of Transportation plans to start work on a bridge over Interstate 70 at Idaho Springs Friday night.
The work will shut down the highway in both directions from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the next three nights.
The work had been scheduled to begin Thursday night but CDOT says the weather prevented materials and equipment from being delivered and set up.
The new bridge is part of a $72 million project to help relieve eastbound traffic during the busiest times on I-70.
