Snowy Conditions Lead To Delays, Cancellations At DIA

DENVER (CBS4) - The extreme cold and snowy temperatures in Colorado are causing problems at Denver International Airport.

United Airlines said they had to cancel more than 150 flights in and out of the airport on Monday. As of 3:30 p.m. 153 United flights had been canceled.

A large number of delays due to the weather and de-icing of planes are also being reported by airlines.

It's a good idea to check with your airline before heading to the airport in case there is a delay or cancellation.

Approximately 161,000 passengers were expected to pass through DIA on Monday.
